How to maintain personal hygiene

The human body is a place where germs and parasites can multiply to cause many diseases later, and these places are most vulnerable to that skin and in and around the openings in the body, but the chances of the reproduction of these germs and parasites are reduced for people who follow healthy habits for their personal hygiene, and among the most prominent habits To maintain personal hygiene the following:

  • Washing daily as much as possible, and when this is not possible, whether due to a lack of water or certain circumstances, such as going on a camping trip, swimming, or washing the body with a damp sponge or cloth dampened with water will suffice. In general, you should wash at least 3 times a week.
  • Brushing the teeth constantly, at a rate of at least once a day, as it is preferable to brush the teeth after each meal to avoid the possibility of gum disease and cavities, and it is important to clean them after breakfast, and before going to bed.
  • Washing the hair with the appropriate hair-cleansing liquid for it at least once a week.
  • Be sure to wear clean clothes and change them if they get dirty, especially underwear, and hang clothes after washing in the sun to dry because the sun’s rays contribute to killing some germs and parasites.
  • Make sure to clean your hands before and after eating, after using the toilet, and during normal daily activities such as play and work.
  • Distracting the face from others, and covering the nose and mouth when sneezing or coughing, to prevent the spread of liquid mists that contain germs to people, causing them to become infected.
